A spot for total cereal I worked on at Motion Theory in LA. As a cg generalist and effects animator I was responsible for some texturing of assets and the dynamics of the cerial flakes as they fall into the bowl. - SCREEN CAPTURES
My masterful texturing skills! lol
I did the dynamics for the flakes using realflow on simple stand-in geo. Then in maya I swapped out the stand-ins for the final high res flakes. This made for a fast workflow that could be tweeked easily because as I was working on the animation the modelers could still be finializing the flakes.
